I was just working on my Business Class for the Slipcover Summit and ran across this comment that I have used before, I think it really applies to those of us who are in the Custom Home Furnishing Industry. Business has been a little rocky for some with the housing slump and comments about fancy draperies! Which everyone in America deserves a beautiful home or living space.
So for those of you who are sometimes wondering why you are in this wonderful business of home decor sewing an interior design, I challenge you to succeed in 2009.
Make the choice to succeed. And then act as if you have no other choice.
Challenge yourself with an ambitious goal. And then find a way to rise to that challenge.
Your life will move forward when you choose to make it happen. The way to find fulfillment is to be an active and persistent participant in it.
Achievement does not come to those who sit and wait for a sure thing. Achievement is attained by taking a dream and then making it into a sure thing.
