2009 Home Decorating Award from Home Fashions U

1st Place In Each Category $150.00  Awards-Gift Certificates

 2nd Place In Each Category $75.00  Awards-Gift Certificates 

Categories

1. Living, Family Room or Patio Decorating Projects  (Patio must use fabric in project)
2. Bedroom Decorating Projects
3. Kitchen Decorating Projects
   

Rules: 

1. Entry must have been created or sewn by entrant.  Cannot be a purchased finished product, the contest is all about making projects for the home.
2. Everyone can enter 2 projects
3. Photos can be use by Home Fashions U for future events
4. Winners my redeem their awards for Class Fees or Sewing Supplies only at Home Fashions U
5. Awards must be redeemed within 6 months of contest date.
6. Acceptable Projects:  Window Treatments, Slipcovers, Pillows, Bedding, Upholstery, Fabric Art,  Cushions, Furniture
7. All voting will be done by Email to Claudia:  homefashionsu@gmail.com

Share your wonderful decorating projects and get Rewards!

You can redeem the Gift Certificates for Classes, Online Classes, Kasmir Fabrics, and Sewing Supplies.

Your projects can be from any room in your home or patio, you can have help from family and friends. You can be the designer and use others to help complete your project.  The project must include Fabrics or Textiles in any way shape or form. 

We would love before and after photos of your favorite project.  The Contest Starts August 1, 2009 and ends August 31,2009.  Please send large size photos of your project, we will adjust the size when needed.  Email your photos to Claudia at homefashionsu@gmail.com

Pillow Challenge Contest - Time to Vote

The Pillow Contest is on design and creativeness, the winner wins $300 in Free Classes at the April 2009 Home Decor Retreat.  2nd Place $50 in classes and 3rd Place $25 in classes or supplies.

Take the Pillow Challenge

Home Fashions U Pillow Challenge kicks off January 15, 2009. 

Home Fashions U invites all of our crafty stitchers to take the "pillow challenge".  For a four-week period, crafters can submit (pictures online or by mail) their luxurious and inspired pillows of all types, to enter the Pillow Challenge

At the end of the four weeks, Home Fashions U will announce one Grand Prize winner and two runners-up.

 

The Grand Prize winner's pillow will be featured in the Spring issue of Home Fashions U Newsletter and on the Home Fashions U Blog.  The Grand Prize winner will also receive $300 Free Classes at Home Fashions U Spring Retreat March 25-29, 2009. 

Second place runner-up will receive $50 gift certificate, and third place runner-up a $25 gift certificate to be used for workshops or classes Online or in Arizona/Washington or merchandise in the website store.
